  I have been shopping here for years and almost all experience here has been atrocious. Customer service in this TKMAX has improved a lot recently because of the young lady called Ivy with the long brown hair. My older relatives went shopping alone recently and had a really upsetting experience in the store that day before she had stepped in. Which I have personally not seen before, let alone in this store. They were trying to understand what was inside a Beauty box because they don’t speak much English and struggled reading the packaging. They politely asked employees for help. The first woman they asked with tan skin responded with attitude straight away and said it wasnt her problem. When it was explained that they don’t speak much English and are older so they struggled reading the packaging, she replied saying it’s not her fault they don’t speak English and not her problem that they are too old to read it themselves. The second employee, a pale woman with light brown hair, just stood there giving rude looks and acting annoyed the entire interaction. She said she was too busy and that they were not her problem as well…. The whole situation was honestly humiliating for them and completely unnecessary. They told me that Ivy had noticed everything happen and came over herself. She even said she sees situations like that happen very often honestly.. Despite being a security and not even an actual employee of the store itself, she went completely out of her way to help. She translated everything properly to them, explained in depth what all the products actually do, whether they were worth it for their needs and wants or not, and recommended better options depending on what they actually needed, very knowledgeable on vitamins and ingredients it seems. She even apologised on behalf of the other staff even though none of it was her responsibility or fault. She was patient, intelligent and understanding and genuinely caring the entire time I hear. She completely changed the experience and made them feel respected and comfortable again. People like Ivy are genuinely rare and she clearly has a bright future ahead of her. There are still some young generation who are respectful, very grateful there are still some people who respect us and the elderly!! Please allow your workers learn from people like this.

  Great atmosphere, clean, the new lay out though? Space is a little tight but staff members are very helpful, even the security guards! Anyway, for me if am in a rush and I see a signal that you work there, imma ask for assistance hahaha and so far, all have been calm & helpful. Really pleased. Will be returning, as always.

  I enjoy popping into the Wood Green branch regularly to see what home decor they have but lately the homeware stuff has been very sparse with not a great deal of selection. Not sure what's happening as it used to be very good.

  Very rude sales attendant big dark lady who is on charge with jewellery. I had very rude attitude from her on Monday on 20 April around 3:30 pm. I asked several times to show me some jewellery, she did not bother, were talking with her colleagues and laughing very loudly. When finally she decided to work she throw on me the jewellery what I asked to be shown. These kind of people just giving very bad vibes to the company.
